Photography
Why do most people trust a camera’s photo more than a person’s painting to depict reality?
Perhaps it’s because a camera is objective and lacks perception—lacking the ability to augment reality due to personal biases.
Yet a camera is for that same reason not an eye. And it is eyes that is what humans use to see each other… so what is more relevant?
I’m augmenting everyones photos for UCID12 to depict them the way as I see them. Isn’t this a more lucid way of depicting real life? depict it as I really see them and not as the camera sees them. I’m a real human, so perhaps we’ll call this human-centered-photography.
